Defiant Postecoglou Asserts 'Allow Me Chance' During Criticism

Under-fire manager the Forest head coach offered an emotional justification regarding his track record as he vowed to win honors with the club if given time
The veteran coach is being questioned having been unable to win any of his initial seven fixtures after taking over from the previous boss in September
Forest have been reviewing their options over the pause in fixtures, and former Clarets coach the defensive specialist among the names considered as an alternative although the current manager only being appointed for just 38 days
The team welcomes Chelsea this weekend while Postecoglou gave a five-minute monologue in his match preview news conference, with Forest sitting 17th in England's top flight
"Many observers concentrate at the weeds while I observe at the development occurring," he declared, "I'm truly optimistic since I work with a squad of emerging talents willing to change"
He also confirmed he hadn't communicated with the chairman the Forest proprietor over the recent pause
"I am not wasting my focus on what people think" he added
"I genuinely don't match, not just at Forest, across the board" he explained
